Setting up your microphone & speakers

We recommend using an incognito Chrome browser or Firefox browser to complete your Kira assessment.

To set up your computer's microphone and speakers, please visit Device Setup on your Check In page.

In the Camera step, you'll be prompted to "Allow" Kira Talent to access your camera and microphone. Please click "Allow" and "Remember" in every prompt that appears, and refer to our Camera Setup & Troubleshooting article for more information.

In the Microphone step, click "Record Sample" to start your 10-second sample video. Be sure to speak loudly in the video to ensure the microphone can pick up your voice!

Once you're done your recording, click the Play button on the screen, and watch your recording back.

If you hear yourself in your sample video, click "Yes", and "Finish Setup".

If you cannot hear yourself, please find the appropriate error message and troubleshooting steps below!
