Is Kira accessible for applicants?

Yes. Kira Talent is designed to be accessible for all applicants. Our assessments comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and we are aiming to reach WCAG 2.2 AA standards in the coming year.

In certain landscape viewport sizes, some content can overlap or truncate, which may make it difficult to view all content or interact with controls without additional scrolling. We suggest using portrait orientation on mobile phones and smaller tablets if possible.

What accessibility features does Kira support?

  • Closed captioning on recorded video content
  • Support for up to 200% zoom
  • Keyboard navigation
  • Audio notifications for timed questions, compatible with screen readers
  • Support for other assistive technologies

Whichever accessibility devices you typically use with your laptop or desktop, they will work with Kira.

For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome, especially if you rely on ARIA announcements and keyboard navigation.

Are live interviews accessible?

Live interviews are not yet fully WCAG 2.1 AA compliant, due to the lack of captions.

What if I need accommodations?

If an accessibility issue is preventing you from completing your Kira assessment or interview, or if you typically receive accommodations, please contact us. Our support team is happy to assist and will connect with the school on your behalf to find a solution that works for you.

How can I provide feedback on accessibility?

We are always looking to improve the accessibility of our platform. If you use assistive technologies to complete your Kira assessment and have suggestions for improvement, or if you find any errors in video captions, please let us know.
