How long does a Kira assessment or live interview take?
The length of your Kira experience can vary depending on how many questions are in the particular assessment or interview you've been invited to.
How long is the Check-In process?
If it's your first time using Kira, we suggest setting aside 15–30 minutes to complete the Check-In process. This includes:
- Reviewing the assessment or interview instructions
- Filling out the Registration form
- Downloading or uploading Supplemental Materials files (if applicable)
- Testing your camera and microphone in Device Setup
- Completing a Practice assessment to get familiar with Kira (if available)
How do I find the length of my assessment or interview?
If you have already received your invite email, click the Check In button in the email to navigate to your assessment or interview. On that initial page, click the Learn More button and go to the second slide, called Assessment Details or Live Interview Details. This slide will show you the type and number of questions or stations, along with the expected duration of your assessment or interview.
What if I can't complete my Kira assessment?
If you're concerned that you won't be able to complete your assessment due to a lack of necessary equipment, scheduling conflicts, or accessibility needs, contact the school you applied to directly. They can advise you on alternate interview methods or accommodations.
