Invited to a Kira assessment? Here's what to expect
What to expect
Congratulations on being invited to complete a Kira Talent assessment! The program or school you've applied to wants to get to know you better :)
During your Kira assessment, you'll be asked to submit timed video and/or timed written responses to questions that have been pre-recorded by the school. You'll be able to record your responses from the comfort of your home, and you can do so in your own time.
This is a great way for you to show off your unique personality and communication skills.
Tools and compatibility
You'll need the following things to complete your online assessment:
- Laptop or desktop computer
- Camera, built-in or external
- Microphone, built-in or external (headphones or a headset will work too)
- Speakers
- Stable internet connection

How long will I need to complete the assessment?
If it's your first time using Kira, we recommend setting aside 30-60 minutes to complete the entire assessment process. Keep in mind that the number of questions, prep time, and response time per question may vary.
Will I be able to use my tablet or smartphone?
The platform is not supported on mobile devices, smartphones, or tablets, including Microsoft Surface Pros or iPads. Please use a laptop or desktop computer to complete your assessment. For more information, see our Supported Browsers & Devices article.
What if I can't complete the online assessment?
If you're concerned that you will not be able to complete the online assessment due to a lack of necessary equipment, please contact the school you've applied to about alternate interview methods.
